#37 We All Love A Good Treat.

After a time of self indulgence, we love to look after ourselves and start the year a  head looking bright eyed and bushy tailed. For most this involves dieting, drinking plenty of water and eating endless amounts of fresh fruit and vegetables and exercising lots. But for me, this isn't so. This is because I know that I won't stick to it and somewhere along the line I will slip up. So what I like to do is give myself a good pamper! This doesn't mean that I'll do this instead of trying to be healthy. Of course I'll try but personally I believe that the answer to looking fabulous is by looking after yourself in every way. After a stressful shift at work, or a long day at college the best way I find to help me unwind is by having an amazing bath. Now my bestfriend knows me so well and for Christmas she brought me some lovely bath smellies!

These bath smellies are just so cute in their floral packaging! The first box is a box of 6 Roses, which funnily enough are rose scented too!

Now I'm not a fan of Rose scented things at all and actually found them over powering when I opened them, but popped in my bath and night with a few candles they are heavenly!

The second box is a box of Lavender products which include a flannel, lavender scented Roses, lavender bath crystals, lavender shower gel, lavender bath cream and lavender body lotion. Now it may seem like a lot of Lavender to you, but this is my perfect idea of relaxation. Don't get me wrong I do love a good bit of Soap and Glory or even some wacky bath bombs like the ones in Lush, but after a hard day a soak in the bath with Lavender is just the thing to help you unwind and get ready for bed. So this is my number one top tip for looking great... bubble baths and relaxation before bed, along with smiling and be happy... of course!

#36 Most Wonderful Time Of The Year.

Good afternoon you wonderful people! I hope you all had a very merry Christmas! Sorry about the awful lack of blogging! The Christmas season is a very busy one for me as I have such a large family so the past few weeks I have spent rushing here there and everywhere in preparation for the big day, it is only now that I am getting time to myself!

So I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and got well and truly spoilt, I know I did. This has honestly been one of the best Christmas's I have ever had, I feel so lucky to have been so spoilt and to have had such an amazing family around me. On another note I want to know what all my lovely readers got for Christmas. I love being nosey and finding out. I know alot of people get slated for posting what they got for Christmas, but I don't care, I'm going to do it anyways! I'm not going to give you a long list of what a got, just a few snaps of everything together. So for all you people that are going to leave nasty comments... go ahead! I don't care! You just look silly! This is for all the other nosey bloggers like myself! Also if you have done a post on what you got from Santa leave me the link, so I can be extra nosey! ;)

So yes, I was totally spoilt and feeling like the luckiest girl alive!

#34 A Message In A Bottle

If you're a true follower you will have seen my tweet last night and noticed that the 'What I'm Currently Reading' on the right hand side of my blog has changed. Yes I finally finished reading Message In A Bottle by Nicholas Sparks, also author of The Notebook, and I have to tell you, I have never cried at a book as much as I have this one! It is so much better than The Notebook, believe it or not!

The book really is a a true romantic and you will fall head over heels in love with the main character Garrett, just like I did. The book is set between two states in America and is written in such a beautiful way that you really can picture what it would be like walking the busy streets of Boston or taking a boat out and roaming the sea in North Carolina.

I don't want to say too much about the plot of this book as it really will give it away. But it is not until the unforeseeable ending until the tears start to endlessly role. After it being recommended to me it really is one of my all-time favourite books and I urge everyone who is in need of some romance and happiness in their lives to read it!

Also, Don't watch the film first as I am struggling to get into it after the reading the book and am fining that the book is so much better like most cases!

#33 What Have I Been Up To...

Sorry for the severe lack of posts guys, I have been seriously ill and on Tuesday I had an emergency doctors appointment so they could try and find out what's wrong with me. Turns out I have Croup, which is a viral infection in the throat and airways. Its most common in kids so if any of you have kids you'll know what it's like. Its basically a massive cold/flu, except for kids its more serious and life threatening as at that young age they don't know how to clear their airways. So I'm on a lovely diet of antibiotics!

I've also been ridiculously busy, which hasn't been helping the illness either, but I just hate on missing out and because I've been bed bound for practically all this week I haven't been able to go out and about and look at all the beauty products like I usually do during my time at college. So this is just a short post to say I will be returning and I'll leave you with some pictures of a great party I went to for a friends 18th!

Also there are only 9 days left to enter my giveaway, so don't forget to enter here
Enjoy the rest of your evening!!

#31 The Girl Behind The Blog..

Morning Guys! I have the day off college today, and as I'm pretty much up to date with my assignments it means I have time to catch up with some Blog reading! I've also just looked back at my Blog and realised that there isn't really much information of me and I don't have any pictures of me. So if you want to see the girl behind this Blog then here she is....

Taa-daaa!

So this is me! I'm very blonde - and in personality too! I've recently gone back to college to study Uniformed Public Services and I'm learning to drive. I hate these kind of things where you have to talk about yourself, I never know where to start or what to say!! But after gaining 100 followers I thought its about time you knew a little bit more about me. So if you have any questions, I don't care what they are they can be as weird as you like! Leave a comment and I'll answer them in another blog post!

Also, thanks for those who have already entered my giveaway. If you haven't entered already, enter here
Have a great rest of your day!!

Happy Sunday all you lovely Bloggers! Hope you've had a fab weekend like me! Recently my life has taken off so much and I'm constantly busy, it's so exhausting! Today I've been Christmas Shopping with my bestfriend and have brought presents for everyone except my Dad as he is so hard to buy for. Shopping was also topped off by a trip to Wagamamas for a Chicken Katsu Curry, they are the don and perfect for curing hangovers!

Anyways, from my last post I've gained enough followers to take me over 100 GFC followers! I'm so grateful and love reading all your comments to me and seeing your views and opinions on the things I talk about. So as a thankyou I'm doing a little giveaway. Its not amazing as its done on a student budget, but its something I read reviews on all the time and wanted to try and when I finally got my hands on it I picked two up for my lovely readers! So enter and enjoy!

#30 All The Things She Said, All The Things She Said.

Evening lovlies! Can't believe I'm only 3 followers away from 100 and I've only done 30 posts! Wowee you guys are fab! Hope you've all had a lovely week and weekend. I know I have. I have constantly been enjoying and loving life at the moment, and even have a new someone in my life who is putting a smile on my face daily! I'm back to my ditsy, happy Hannah self! Also, anyone else remember the song which is the name of this post by Tatu? I thought it was slightly appropriate and linked! - yes my ditsy self is definitely back!

Recently I've been loving guys with tattoos! However, I'm still not a fan of the head to toe look of carp/koi fish and skull and cross bones look. But just the odd one here and there I find so yummy, especially when they are meaningful.

This new love of tattoos has also sparked an inner desire in me to have my own. Except I'm being very cautious with it as I know that if it is a rushed decision I could be left with something I live to regret for the rest of my life. But what I really do like are the quotes, I found a few images that I love on WeHeartIt which I'd like to share with you as it is giving me some inspiration. If you have any tattoos or share similar views please leave a comment, also any stories on tattoos, even if they are horror stories. My mum would be thankful if they were to change me mind! Haha..

Be aware, slightly picture heavy, I couldn't choose my favourite!

#29 Lemon Cupcakes To Make You Smile

I have had a really crap day, well actually it was a really good day. It's just the beginning to the evening has been really horrid, and I'm not going into the reasons why as it'll just get me down and make me angry. So tonight I want I want to post about some lovely sunshine yellow cupcakes I baked the other day as yellow always makes me smile! :)

To make these gorgeous little Lemon Cupcakes you will need...

Ingredients

  • 175g Caster Sugar
  • 175g Butter
  • 3 Medium Eggs - beaten
  • Lemon Essence - you can use vanilla
  • 175g Plain Flour
  • 1tsp Baking Powder
For The Icing
  • 200g Butter
  • Lemon Essence - you can use vanilla
  • 375g Icing Sugar
  • Yellow Food Dye
Recipe
  1. Heat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas mark 4.
  2. Beat the sugar and butter together until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs a little at a time. Add the essence too. I used lemon but you could use vanilla or any flavour you fancy.
  3. Fold in the flour and baking powder and then divide evenly into cake cases. Bake for 18-20 minutes and after after baking leave to cool.
  4. To make the icing put the butter, essence - again it doesn't matter what flavour you use and 2 tsp hot water in a mixing bowl and beat in two thirds of the icing sugar with an electric whisk. Gradually beat in the rest of the icing sugar until you have a soft but spreadable consistency that holds its shape.
  5. Fill a piping bag with a large star nozzle, with the icing. When the cakes are completely cold, pipe swirls on top of the cupcakes. Decorate with what you like. If you don't  have a piping bag you can just spread the icing on.
Enjoy the lovely cupcakes, I know I have! ;)

#28 Vintage Over Essex.

I have to raise my hands and admit it that I am one of The Only Way Is Essex's biggest fan! I can't help but laugh at their stupidity but still love them all the same. I'm even starting to love the sometimes tacky Essex Fashion, especially as I am a bit partial to some FakeTan. But the thing that has got me the most its Lydia Brights style. Compared to Essex girls like Jess, Sam and Lauren. Lydia is a delicate little English Rose. She doesn't follow the same trends as the other girls, and when it comes to the show I give her credit for being so different. It seems like the Essex girls can't live without a bottle of FakeTan or hair extensions, which is why it is so refreshing to see Lydia looking so natural.

Personally I think that I would choose to dress in this vintage style like Lydia over the other TOWIE girls any day, she looks so feminine and beautiful. But then beauty is in the eye of the beholder, what one person sees as beauty another may not. What does everyone else think on Lydia and the other  TOWIE girls style?

#27 I'M BACK!!!

Hey guys I'm back!! Miss me? :-)

I want to apologise so much for the serious lack of blogging! After me and Luke split up I wanted time to clear my head and gather my thoughts. Well all that is done now and I feel so much happier within myself. I have a great family, amazing friends which is the main reason for not blogging as I've been out constantly and the best news is me and Luke are still great friends and I'm going to meet him for coffee at our favourite coffee shop Brown Bag tomorrow! Whilst I was down I brought a few pic-me-ups and in these bits included the new OPI The Muppets Minis.

Taa-daa! They're a bit beautiful and perfect for the winter months! If you like I will do swatches and reviews on the colours, so leave comments! Also I'd like to welcome all my new readers and now only 10 away from 100! Finally my last little mention don't forget to follow me on twitter, drop us a comment, and girls.. always smile. I find its my best cure for anything!

#26 No Way St' Tropez

I want to get it over with quickly so... yes I have been feeling really crappy recently, me and my boyfriend broke up, so not quite myself but hey ho I will be. There short and sweet. I'd rather not talk about things just trying to keep happy!!

The main point for the post is I cannot believe how awful I've found a St' Tropez product! All their previous ones I've been really good with, in fact I've never experienced a bad fake tan product, or ever reacted to one.

This is what I've been applying and yes I know it's medium to dark but just a couple of coats gives you that 'I've been on holiday for a week' look. So throughout the whole week I applied 3 coats ready for a party, and thankgod I never went because it did the most hideous thing to my skin ever. My skin became so itchy it was unbearable to the point I was clawing at my skin it scratched the tan off and you could see when I'd scratched it off and it even made me bleed in places!

The first two are of my arm and the last picture of my thigh. No matter how much moisturiser I was putting on it just would not stop itching or go away. I can't believe that you can see where I have scratched at myself! I'm so upset because it did give me such a gorgeous skin tone but its so not worth going through this again. Does anyone else have any similar stories?

#25 Blackberry V. IPhone

Evening Bloggers, hope eveyones monday hasn't been to bad, like most I've been working all day, and let me tell you there was some huge dramas! But moving on todays big question - well most days for me! Is what does everyone think about Blackberrys and Iphones? I know that there is this massive competition at the moment between the two brands, along side a lot of customer loyalty.

I myself have a Blackberry and got it way back last summer, I never wanted one to begin with as I didn't want to become part of the 'craze' it was only because my Dad went out and got the contract for me that I got it, and Iphones were too expensive at the time. But this is the really sad part... There is not a day that goes by where I am not without my Blackberry, it has actually become part of my life! I'm actually hooked, and when Blackberry services went down the other week I was actually beside myself and didn't know what to do. I hate that I am so dependant on it, yet wouldn't be without it. GUYS I NEED HELP, like therapy or something!

But on the other hand when Blackberry did go down I so badly craved the IPhone, and I always think I'd look so stylish walking down the road with my white iphone 4 in one hand, Mulberry bag resting on my arm with my starbucks cup in the other hand, looking like a celeb. (yeah I know I live in dream world) So lovely readers if you have an iphone tell me why I should get one on my upgrade, and loyal blackberry users leave me lovely comments. I'm so torn and so sucked up into this media frenzy battle, its ridiculous!

All images were from weheartit.

So what's everyone elses opinions, are you in on the Blackberry, IPhone craze?!

#24 Ed Sheeran Gig At Reading Sub 89

Evening Guys! Hope you're all celebrating the arrival of the weekend but for those of you who are catching up on blog reading like myself take a little look at my Ed Sheeran pics!! Last night me and my boyfriend went to go see Ed Sheeran at a local club, I brought the tickets for him for his birthday, but how could I resist when they were only £10 each, so for all of you Ed Sheeran fans who didnt turn up, you seriously missed out on a treat!! Before the gig I treated my boyfriend as another birthday present to Wagamamas, it is amazing! Chicken Katsu Curry is to die for. For those of you who haven't been I strongly recomend it. It's cheap, fast and amazing fresh oriental food.

So after  queing for about an hour we were finally let in only to wait a further 45 minutes for the first support actm, I think his name is Ryan Keane? Apparently he is new and up coming, but if I'm honest I didn't think to much of him as we were so excited for Ed and also fed up of waiting any longer. We then waited a further 15 minutes for ANOTHER support act however they we're Irich rappers called Abandoman and they were BRILLIANT. There is no quick way to sum them out so i strongly advise you to youtube them, they make raps out of things which are in the crowds pockets and things like that and they are hilarious!

Finally Ed Sheeran came on after nearly 3 hours of waiting. Words cannot describe how incredible he was, He sang loads of songs of his new album '+ (plus)' But to hear him without any edits or through the radio was just indescribeable, and what made it better was that I was an arms length distance away from him! I'm simply going to leave a few pictures of him for you to see as I keep having fits of excitement and can't form any decent sentances together.

P.S Sorry for the poor quality of my Blackberry camera and don't forget to follow on Twitter!!

Ed Sheeran - Reading Sub:89 INCREDIBLE!
