#61 New Style Crush/Girl Crush!

Rita Ora

Rita Ora has become my latest style crush/girl crush since becoming obsessed with her song RIP featuing Tinie Tempah. There's just something about her voice which really captures me and I find myself watching the music video again and again and again. I'm hoping to do more posts on Rita Ora in the future but these are just some of the pictures I want to share with you, and hopefully you'll be able to see why she's my new crush!
Also if you haven't already: Check out her song and video to RIP here!

Personally I think that she is beautiful!

#60 No 17 Lasting Fix - Dreamy

In a recent post you'l see that I brought this No 17 Lipstick. I'm more of a lip-gloss gal, but recently have been dabbling around with a bit of lipstick and thought that I should buy some more to my tiny collection!
I choose the No17 Lasting Fix because a). It's reasonably priced at only £4.29 and b). I liked the sound of it being a lasting fix as the few lipsticks which I have don't wear particularly well.
When I swatched the sample in Boots it came out a very pale pink colour which would be perfect for wearing everyday - especially if its going to be long lasting!
The colour came out well when applied and is perfect for an everyday colour for me. It also applied a lot better with a lip brush. If you're in a hurry and just want to swipe it over your lips for a quick bit of colour then this isn't the lipstick for you as it doesn't give a great coverage and you need the brush to get into all the little places. However, there is no harm in not using the brush when touching up. Maybe its just because I'm messy at applying lipstick so the brush gives me a neater finish.
The lipstick also has a very matte finish so if you are a glossy person like me a small amount of clear gloss looks perfect - but that's just my personal preference.
The only downside to this product which is actually the most crucial is that I didn't find it to be a lasting fix at all. I wore this lipstick to work to do just a 4 hour shift but by halfway through I had noticed it wasn't lasting well at all and clung to all the wrong places - if you know what I mean? It clung to all the dry parts of my lips and didn't look attractive at all!
I'm not completely dissatisfied with this product as I love the colour but I certainly believe that you need to have constant well moisturised lips for it to work well and I'm the type of person that is constantly trying to find new solutions to dried lips!

#59 Wednesday Smiles #1

Wednesdays are always such a long day for me as I'm at college 9-5.30 which actually involves leaving the house at 8 and getting home at 6 and I know to most that's a normal working day but I'm only used to go to college 3 times a week and for 3 hours at a time. It just really drags and is tedious just sitting in classrooms all day, plus wearing a full kit of Army uniform! There's usually always something which keeps me going and today it was these pictures of my beautiful niece Lauren who has just had her 1st birthday! These photos were taken a few backs in the lovely sunshine!

She is just gorgeous and loved MY Ribena Ice Lolly!

#58 Boots Haul - Pick Me Ups.

I recently had a little spend, which isn't what a girl should be doing when she's trying to scrimp and save every penny she earns. But sometimes us girls just need a break and need to treat ourselves to some new make-up, and this is exactly what I have done!
The pink background is actually a bodycon skirt from H&M however, there won't be any posts on it as 1. I brought it because it's a nice bright pink! 2. I brought it because it was cheap at £3.99 I couldn't say no and finally 3. I have nothing that actually goes with it. I don't think I really thought this one through! I also got some Elderflower eye-gel for puffy eyes which was actually a freebie from The Body Shop for becoming a member.
I then brought this GOOD THINGS 'Face The Day' Face Moisturiser which is £7.99 for 100ml and it smells amazing! You can really smell the fruity Goji Berry and Papaya in it which has to be a winner as I'm a sucker for things which smell amazing and I was in desperate need of a daily moisturiser.
My last purchases from Boots were the Wake Me Up Rimmel Foundation which has been raved about by many. However, I have to say I have read a few unhappy reviews too but for £8.99 I have to try it out for myself, plus once again, it smells brilliant!
I then went on to purchase some lipsticks as I've decided it's about time I became more sophisticated and swapped the lipgloss for lipstick! So first on the left I brought No17 Lasting Fix Lipstick in Dreamy for £4.29, and it's a nice soft, fairly pale pink.
I then went on to buy the new No17 Supreme Shine Lipstick in If You Please which is a nice bright in your face pink!
All reviews will be coming soon!

What little pick-me-ups have you recently brought?!

#57 Awful Blogger Once Again And Life Update.

WOAH! Since when did life start flying by so quickly?! These Easter holidays have flown by and I have been majorly busy that I haven't had time to blog. But don't fear because that means I have lots of blog posts and ideas coming your way! I've also been sooo terrible that I still haven't posted Gemma-Louise her giveaway prize! So Gemma-Louise if you're reading this I haven't forgotten about you and sending off your prize is on my to-do list for this week!
As I haven't posted in a while I thought I'd do a little update on what is going on in Hannah world. If you don't like reading these sorts of posts and prefer others please say because I don't want to bore my readers as I was thinking of making this a regular post and I won't in anyway be offended! Promise! I love having feedback in any shape or form from my readers!
Recently I joined up to WeHeartIt, and for those of you who don't know it is just a website with collections of pictures on there are literally thousands and thousands being uploaded constantly and in all different categories. If you are a One Direction fan I strongly recommend you check out the pictures! This website is where most of the pictures in this post have come from!
During me last week off of the Easter Holidays I took a trip up to Westfields and had my first ever proper MAC purchase which is so exciting, so keep your eyes peeled for the post!
I have also had a lovely week off with my boyfriend as we are very loved up at the moment after finally taking the plunge to go official after months of seeing each other with out tricky situation (he's my ex's bestfriend.) I know it's all proper mushy and things but he is honestly the most amazing boyfriend I have ever had! He even took me out to dinner during the week and wouldn't let me pay a penny which I know most of you are thinking "Of course! That's that way it should be!" But I've clearly had mug written on me as I've literally paid for everything in all my previous relationship. He just really spoils me and treats me like a princess. We don't even go out constantly and do have nights in, but even the nights in are so different to past relationships and everyone has said how they've noticed me to be a different kind of happy to previous relationships. This has to be a sign of even better things to come!
He even brought these beautiful flowers for my Mum for no reason - he's definitely a keeper. I also think he was forgetting my bunch of flowers! ;)
I'm so sorry that this post is so long! I could probably even find more to chat to all of you about if you haven't escaped from my page for fear of talking you to death and have made it to the end. Let me know what you've all been up to in the last couple of weeks!

#56 Happy Easter - Giveaway Winner.

Happy Easter to all you lovely bloggers out there! Personally I don't celebrate Easter in the way which others might do for me its and excuse to get the family together for a good meal and eat lots of chocolate eggs! But which ever way you celebrate Easter I hope you all have a good day - and night! For those of you who are party animals like me and taking full advantage of all the themed nights and cheap bank holiday prices at the clubs on a Sunday night!!
I recently had a small giveaway which ended yesterday and I took it upon myself to go and smell each of the peoples entries as the giveaway was about what each persons favourite scent was. So yesterday I was running around all the places which sold perfumes in town trying to test each entry, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed each of them and I may even consider purchasing some for new fragrances to wear.
The winner of my giveaway is Gemma-Louise froFashion Is Beauty Beauty Is Fashion
I chose Gemma-Louise as my winner as I loved her favourite scent at the moment which is Victor and Rolf's Flowerbomb which reminded her of her summer holiday last year, and I have to say it does have a summer feeling about it! So well done Gemma-Louise!!

I hope you all enjoy the rest of your Easter and bank holiday!

#55 Body Shop Body Butters

Recently I have been a little bit obsessed with The Body Shop ever since I had to pop in and buy my Stepmum a birthday present and I loved all the wonderful products they had to offer. They do a wide range of products in a variety of different fragrances and the bonus part is that the majority of it is all reasonably well priced! So since becoming obsessed I signed up to the Body Shop newsletter via email and was just thrilled when they emailed me with a 40% off voucher code which also included 40% off sale items too! Unfortunately the voucher has expired but I do know that their body butters are still half price online which is what I purchased!
Now personally I think that Body Shop are known for their fabulous range of Body Butters and these were the ones which I picked as everyone else had already beaten me to the others which were sold out such as the Mango Body Butter!
The LOVE ETC brand in the Body Shop wasn't something familiar to me so I thought that there would be no harm in trying it especially when they were only £5 each online and I was then getting a further 40% off. When it arrived I wasn't disappointed at the smell of the product which is always a gamble when you don't know it. The best way that I can describe it which is probably really rubbish is that it's a very natural fresh smell. I also investigated more into the LOVE ETC brand and found that the Body Shop created it in order to 'spread the love' and by this they mean that the ingredients which they buy in order to make the product, the farmers who grow the ingredients in Ecuador are given a fair price and this has already had a positive effect with 150 families in Ecuador benefiting positively from the scheme. The ingredients are also completely natural and are not tested on animals which in a win for the consumers!

I then purchased the Cocoa Butter and Shea Body Butters. These two are my most favourite butters which the Body Shop produce, and lets be honest who really can resist rubbing a butter into your skin which smells ever so slightly like the most delicious chocolate bar you have ever eaten?! And again the Shea Body Butter smells slightly similar to the Cocoa Body Butter except it's a lot lighter and fresher, and is my favourite for every day to day use.
As you can see the Body Butters aren't like your average moisturisers in a tub which you might use. They are very hard until you get a bit further down into the pots. I've also found that a little really does go along way with the Butters where as with most moisturisers I find that I have to put quite a far amount on for it to really do anything, and then I find that I need to apply a normal moisturiser everyday to keep up with the hydration of my skin. Whereas, with a Body Butter I use them every other day and the fantastic smell will last for the majority of the day from when I applied it, so I find that there's also never a need to apply a perfume making it a quick and simple every day routine.
The Body Shop 50% off sale finishes today, so if you're persuaded go and grab your favourite body butters for an amazing £5!
Enjoy the rest of your day and don't forget to enter my Next Just Pink Desire giveaway
