Topshop Cosmetics

You all know that I'm late with jumping onto the bandwagon with products and brands, always have been, and always will. After reading quite a few good reviews about Topshop makeup I knew I had to try some, so after my job interview at the weekend (WHICH I GOT, BY THE WAY GUYS, YAY ME!) I headed to Topshop to investigate their products, which is where I picked up a Lipstick and a blush. Can I just say, how cute is their packaging?! I didn't want to throw the boxes away, but decided I wasn't going to become the ultimate hoarder! The packaging is also very sturdy, so in that morning rush you can just throw these into you bag and not have to worry about them being damaged or any breakage or smashing of products.

I cannot get over how cute the packaging is, I love it! I opted for two of my favourite colours, a nice bright pink for lips and a peachy/coral for cheeks, these are two of my favourite summer trends at the moment! This is also the first cream blusher which I've owned in a long time. A few years back I owned one but threw it away after struggling to use it and never using it. But now, I think the formula's have of cream blushes have improved and my make up skills have also improved, (I'd like to think!) allowing me to apply cream blushes with ease. Phew.

This Lipstick immediately stuck out to me, but I think that's because I have a love of all things pink! I only wanted to get one Lipstick but I'm telling you, I could have brought them all! Well at least several...

I was pleasantly surprised at how creamy and moisturising these lipsticks are, which for someone with dry lips such as myself is always a bonus. The Lipstick also applies evenly, so if you're in a rush you don't have to worry about wasting time using a lip primer or brush, it just glides on effortlessly. It is also incredibly pigmented so you don't have to worry about building the colour. Although, obviously, the more you apply the more bold and vibrant the colour will be.

I thought I'd play it safe with this blusher as it can look really natural if you really blend it well, or you can use it for a more bold look. As it's name suggest I really have fallen head over heels in love with this product. I don't find it too creamy, and it blends really easily and you can either use your finger or a stippling brush for this. The best part about this product is although it's cream based once it's applied it becomes more powder based making it more easy to work with. Maybe it's because sometimes I can be lazy with my make up routine as to why this product is such a favourite, it's really quite effortless and perfect for beginners, it's certainly got me loving cream blushes again!

#81 I Want These Bad Boys!

Now I'm not usually one to physically lust over something and want something. After putting my spending habits on hold whilst I save my money up, somehow the craving of lusting and wanting new clothes and shoes disappeared.

However, when I saw these on the cover of this months Cosmopolitan Magazine modelled by Jessica Ennis, I knew that I just had to have them! I love high heels, I have a bit of a thing for really pretty ones, even though I have a really small collection myself. If I ever do have a bit of money spare to spend on myself the shoe section is always where I head to first. There wasn't anything in particular that I was drawn to, it was just the complete beauty of the shoe. Although the glitter did win me over that little bit more!

These babies are from Topshop and I have been scouring my iPhone app and just can't seem to find them online to post a link with them. Which is also why they're photographed straight for the magazine too. So I'm thinking that they're probably going to come in with at Autumn Winter season. However, my trusty Cosmopolitan Magazine tells me that when they do eventually retail they will cost £78 which isn't bad going for the beauty of them!

#49 It Could Only Happen To Me...

Woah! Would you look at that! Two blog posts in one week! Aren't you all lucky things! 
So today at college this morning it dragged for so long, I don't know what it is about Wednesdays, I think it's because it's my only 9-5.30 day. So whilst I wasn't in the greatest of moods today at 8.30 in the morning only the worst thing in the world could happen to me... The handle on my bag snapped! This also nearly caused tears as it was my most favourite bag in the world which I brought from 'The Genuine Fake Factory' in Turkey. Yes the shop really was called that, I even have pictures to prove it!

Yes! There it is! The Genuine Fake Factory, I took this photo all the way in Turkey. But I have to admit they were bloody good fakes, and I absolutely fell in love with a Louis Vuitton brown leather bag which since the summer I have taken everywhere with me. I don't do little bags I am very much an oversized girl to the point the boys on my course nick-named my bag 'The Suitcase' So after being in a foul mood at my favourite bag breaking beyond repair and the annoyance of having to carry it awkwardly I decided to head off into the town on my lunch break and hit the shops where I found a rather cute little every day bag in Topshop which was the perfect size and colour and just what I needed. 

This bag is just perfect and I can't believe I found it so quickly. It costs £30 but I managed to get it for £27 with my student discount, oh the beautys of still being a student! Although, I nearly did shed a tear when I had to throw my most favourite bag into the bin! Also, I just can't believe that it fits all the stuff I need for college, I never thought I'd find another. I also had to follow tradition of new bag, new shoes ;) and I managed to quickly find these comfy little flats in New Look for I think £24. I didn't go out with the intentions to spend a lot of money at all today but they were necessities!
