#54 NEXT Just Pink Desire Eau De Toilette Giveaway.

Hope everyone is well this Saturday morning, I however am at home ill when I should be at work, being ill sucks!
Recently at work we had our mid-season sale and the beauty of working in retail and working the sale and doing sale prep is that you get first pick of everything that's about to go live into the sale, so of course I snapped up a few bargains and whilst there I brought just a little something which I thought might make a good giveaway as I haven't done one since before Christmas and recently I've reached 150 followers and haven't shown a little appreciation. So here it is...

Next do great body care which is reasonably priced, and when this little beauty went into the sale I had to have first pick! So I grabbed one for myself and one for my followers. Just Pink by Next is a favourite of mine which I'm constantly wearing, and recently they brought out Just Pink Desire for the season. Now I know it may not be to everyone's taste but I just wanted to share with you a beauty product which I LOVE. This fragrance is such a pretty smell as its a twist of fruitiness and florals, yet at the same time not over powering. I know that perfume giveaways are a bit of a risk but it's just a chance to try something new which you wouldn't normally buy yourself and if you end up winning and don't like it then I won't be offended there may be someone else you can recycle it!

#53 New Looks Got Me Going Crazy!

Evening bloggers! Well aren't I doing well?! Several blog posts from me this week! I think that deserves a pat on the back! Lets see if I can keep this going!
Today has been such a lovely day with the sunshine and the heat and whenever the weather is good it always sets me in a good mood too! And when I'm in a good mood there is nothing better that I love doing than a spot of shopping! So after college today I popped into New Look as a new store has recently opened in Bracknell, and I fell in love with New Look all over again! Although I didn't buy any clothes as I'm waiting for payday tomorrow I couldn't help but lust over all the accessories and found myself adding more and more to the buy pile! So here is what I got...

I could have brought one of each of the accessories but refrained myself and purchased these bits instead!

First up is the Clutch Bag, it is actually a rather large bag as for those of you who dont know I don't do small bags! And this bag is actually just the right  size for me to pop a pair of flat shoes in as whenever I go out I always walk to my local club and cannot for the life of me walk any sort of distance in 6inch heels!

I never really used to wear rings but recently everywhere I go I seem to be picking one up and have started this sort of ring obsession. Except this one doesn't really fit when I got it home and took it out of the packaging. I must have lost weight on my fingers or something haha!

For £2.99 you can't really afford not to buy these super cure earings really can you?! Especially when you are getting Student Discount on all of it too! I am also a sucker for a cute pair of earings and couldn't help but buy these for the fear of missing out, sad I know!

Now these earings may not be to everyones taste, but they are certainly to mine! I find that by having short blonde hair it really allows for you to show off any earings you may be wearing. I also have these earings in a sort of pale navy colour and everytime I wear them I always get complimented on them and seeing as I wear alot of browns and natural colours I thought I'd pick up the brown pair.

Sadly though on my day off tomorrow I have signed up to do some over time at work in preperation for Next's Midseason Sale starting Saturday! #52 I Need A Huge Favour From My Followers!

Tonight isn't a normal post. Tonight I need your help!
A few days back I created a new Twitter account purely dedicated to Beautiful Nellies. I know some of you may have already been following me on Twitter but that was my personal account from ages ago. I only used that account to follow a few close friends, but it was mainly for following celebrities and the cast of favourite show The Only Way Is Essex, so that I could keep up with the latest goss! As Beautiful Nellies became a bit more successful I decided to put my Twitter up for people to follow. Now I didn't mind my close friends following and seeing the posts on my blog etc. But then people who I'm not so close with began to find my Twitter and I didn't want to have to explain to them about it. This isn't because I'm ashamed of the blogging world I just know that girls can be bitchy, especially the group which were starting to follow my Twitter and I felt that I didn't owe them an explanation of my blogging and beauty world. This little community is far too nice for them anyway!
So the other night I went through the process of setting up an account only somehow it didn't activate and I can't log back onto it and Twitter are being very unhelpful! It has been the biggest pain in my bottom this week. So tonight I have re-created a Twitter account for Beautiful Nellies which can be found at https://twitter.com/#!/BeautifulNellys
I'm really sorry if anyone followed the other account but if you did please unfollow it and follow this one. I want to be able to use Twitter as a way of keeping in touch with my followers and bringing them uptodate with things going on at Beautiful Nellies.

#51 I Heart U Too...

Evening bloggers! Hope you all had a great weekend and all spoiled your Mummies silly! I know I treated mine! What sort of presents did you buy for your mums? I sometimes find it hard to buy for things such as Mothers Day and Fathers Day simply because it's meant to be a token something but you want to spoil them and then they may moan etc, you can just never win! Well I can't with my Mum anyways!
I know this post may be a little late compared to others, but it's better than never, and I'm usually the last to join in with things anyway! So the other day I popped into Superdrug just to kill some time whilst waiting for my train and I know they have a MUA section so I thought I'd chance my luck and see if they have any of the Love Hearts collection in stock as usually they sell out of everything really quickly. It just so happens that it was just my luck and they did have a few things in stock which I was able to pick up. Now the best thing about MUA products is that they have the most reasonable and affordable pricetags to match the good quality of the products. Actually, I say it's reasonable and affordable, it really isn't purely to my own self indulgence! As the Love Hearts Collection ranges at £2 a product, I just don't know when to say no until I get to the till to pay for the items and it leaves a slight dent in my bank balance. It is that easy to get carried away! However, on this occasion I was able to curb my slight craze (although I did have to put five items back!) And this is what I came away with... (p.s. picture heavy)

I came away with two MUA Love Hearts Nail Varnish's in 'LOVE U 24/7' and 'U R FAB' I then also came away with two Love Heart Lip Balms in 'Sweet Kiss' and 'Sugar Lips.' The are all typical Love Heart sayings from the sweets and I absolutely love how they've used it to create cosmetic products.

I can't wait to do proper NOTD review posts on these Varnishes because they are honestly two of my favourite Nail Varnishes that I own, and I own a lot! This is why there are no swatches of them as they are each going to have their own posts. Although, I have already worn both colours and should have taken photos and had posts ready to put together by now. But do stay tuned if you want to find out more about the Love Heart Polishes. 

The next item which I really wanted to get my hands on from the collection were the Love Hearts Lip Balms as I had heard great things about them. Again the names 'Sweet Kiss' and 'Sugar Lips' are very typical from the Love Hearts and so cute and quirky. I also love the packaging with the product being in a small round screw top pot which makes it easy to get the products out from. Another favourite of mine of the packaging is that I love how the name of the product is right there instead of fumbling about trying to find the teeny tiny writing which tells you the name of your lipstick, when half the time I can barely read it anyway!

These lips balms are great! Personally, I wouldn't say that they are the best Lip Balms which I've ever had because nothing beats my trusty Carmex when I want an injection of moisture into my lips. But for a quick moisture boost with a hint of gloss they are great. As you can see they are pigmented but they're not really strong. So if you are looking for just a quick gloss and go they are brilliant, or maybe even a subtle look for school or work. However, I find that the work their best when they are placed over the top of a bright Lipstick. This is because I find that Lipstick has a tendency to really dry my lips out so the balm helps with that and then they also give a fabulous glossy finish to that perfect pout. However, if you're going for a matte look then obviously you won't be using these!

For £2 an item, it would be rude not to purchase any of the MUA Love Hearts collection really, wouldn't it?!

#50 I've Committed THE WORST Dating Rule In The Book...

I am actually amazed that I have logged back onto my blog and still seen all my lovely followers still there following because personally I don't feel as though I deserve. One of my new year resolutions was to be a better blogger. Well what a fail that has been! I have a few period of doing some good frequent blogging and then my life just takes off again and I feel as though I'm letting you all down!
But on a more positive note! These last few weeks have been the best of my life especially last week! So this post is just going to be a little life update.
Recently I have met someone who is featuring a lot in my life recently. Well, I haven't recently met him I've known him a while and this is the part where you may hate me for committing the worst dating bitchy rule of all...!! Yes, he is my ex's bestfriend... This is the part where you all throw tomatoes and hurl abuse at me because I probably do deserve it! And I know what you're probably all thinking that he's just my 'rebound' or that I'm doing it to get back at Luke, but honestly, I'm not. We've had a thing between us for ages since me and Luke broke up last year as we are in the same group of friends and always without fail go out together at the weekends and more than friendship grew. We shared a few drunken kisses but knew there was more there but neither of us did anything about it and even spoke about it and said that we couldn't ever be together. But over three months of lust, fun times and friendship stronger feelings begin to grow until they're so strong you can't help the way you feel and know that you're doing wrong but at the same time you can't bare to be apart.
Once Luke knew about us it felt as though a massive weight had been lifted, and besides if he's happy with his new girlfriend why don't I get a shot at being happy with someone and surely wouldn't he want to see his bestfriend happy? It's not like we broke up on bad terms and hate each other. We just grew much to far apart and I've come to realised we're two very different people. I know I may have done bad but I'm very happy at the moment and I wouldn't change it for the world. Plus my Mum loves Tyler so that's a win! And yes, Tyler would be his name in case you were wondering! :D
I've also had a busy week as it's  been by bestfriends 18th birthday and her parents paid for us all to stay in a hotel and go out to our favourite club in Reading! So the amount of shopping I did with her was actually enough to last me a life time believe it or not!
Another update is that I just created a twitter account for my blog. I know some of you follow my personal twitter but for various reasons which I'll explain at a later date I've made one purely for my blog! So please get following as I'm looking a little lonely at the moment! @BeautifulNelies
