Fashion | The New Black Bag

As soon as I see something that I like, I know I have to have it and it was the same with this Black Plate Premium Bag from Next. Out of all the handbags I own, I only owned one black bag and I had recently started to think that it was coming to the end of it's life so as soon as I spotted this one it immediately ticked all the boxes and I used up the last of my birthday money to buy it.

I love the simplicity of the bag, yet it still has attractive detailing. I'm also forever hoarding round crates of stuff with me so tha fact that it's big enough to fit all my junk in is another bonus. The bag consists of 3 compartments, 1 large zipped compartment in the middle, and the other two are either side and use poppers rather than zips. I'm always very safety conscious so anything valuable such as phone, money etc go into the zipped compartment and anything else like lip glosses and a ridiculous amount of sweet wrappers for when I can't find a bin go in the popper compartments.

At £50.00 some people may find this bag rather on the pricey side especially as it's just from Next. However, the quality is brilliant and so far it hasn't shown any signs of wear and tear like my Primark bags do in their first few weeks of life. I also like the fact that there is also an adjustable handle so that you can carry the bag in which ever way is comfiest, on long days out, with any bag I'm always swapping and changing the way I carry it in order to stop my shoulders from aching - perhaps that's a sign that I carry too much?!

There is nothing I could fault this bag for and I haven't let it out of my grasp since I brought it.

Fashion | What I Brought In The Sales

Everybody loves a good bargain, especially in the sales and to me it has become more apparent that the Christmas Sales are a part of my Christmas, sort of routine, if you like. Working at Next is brilliant when it comes to the sales, not so much so with the 6am start on Boxing Day but it does mean that working there we get first picks of what's going into the sale and I can't resist a few bargains! So here is what I picked up from Next in the sale and a few bits from various other places!
The shoes if I can recall are probably the most expensive thing I picked up with one pair costing £16, but that's still so cheap for such pretty shoes! The Jeggings were a great bargain at £12 once I find a style of Jean which I like I then have to have them in every colour and I haven't these yet, so what a bargain! Snuggly jumpers are always a must when it comes to winter shopping, the blue and gold cost £10 and the grey £14. Baring in mind that knickers and bras have individual costs I was able to pick up two complete sets for around £10 each! What a bargain?! Finally, the cream Gillet was £14, I brought it before the sale in brown but chose not to get the cream as it would probably always end up being dirty, but I couldn't resist it at that price!

Finally the faux leather skater style skirt from New Look was £10. I've wanted one for ages so was chuffed and the white bra and knicker set was brought in the Ann Summers sale. The Ann Summers sale makes buying bras so much more affordable! I'm really pleased with all my sale buys and can't wait to wear them all!

What did you buy in the sale?!

Next Just Pink

When I was younger I used to love watching my Mum put on her make up and spray her perfume before going out. I would constantly be asking if I could have some of her make up and perfume too. She would always play along with it pretending to give me some and it would make me so happy. As I started to get older I started to ask for my own and I will never forget when I was lucky enough to get my first perfume. From then on of around the age of 11/12 this perfume has always been a favourite of mine.

Just Pink is a very light floral scent and is described as having soft fruits and pink blossom in it too. It definitely does suit its name of Just Pink. I have still continued to love this perfume from being that little girl and each year I will receive a bottle of it or a gift set. It's the ideal gift for Christmas or Birthdays as it also comes with a very reasonable price tag.
Images were taken from www.next.co.uk
These are the gift sets which are available from the Just Pink range. It consists of everything girly from perfume to candles, to manicure and pedicure sets to make up and body lotions.
The prices start at £5.00 and go up to £16.00 making it the perfect gift for anyone! Next time you're in Next make sure you check out their fragrances as most of their perfumes retail at only £10.00 and they will always have a full stock of Just Pink as from working there I know it's their bestseller!

Have you tried any of the other fragrances from Next?

#84 Sale Madness And Giveaway Reminder.

These past few days have just been so busy and hectic. The NEXT sale at the weekend was an absolute nightmare. I am not cut out to be a people person so rude, pushy customers at 6am. Seriously?! GO HOME!! There is no need for people to be so rude and aggressive for what? A few bargains? I even had one lady push me over when I was bending over to pick clothes up off the floor, and by this time I had, had enough! So I piped up a very loud and angry sounding 'EXCUSE ME!!!' to which she just looked at me on the floor, cut me the dirtiest look and walked off. SHE DIDN'T EVEN APOLOGISE!!!!
So yes, I have had it up to here with rude customers!! Thank god for my week off!

Right, rant over...

However, I did manage to pick up quite a lot of things as the benefits of working the sale the night before with all the preparation means you get to go around the store shopping and grabbing the best bargains before anyone else does and them stash it all away in the stockroom!
I haven't been wearing my jewellery like I used to and the main reason is because I've gone off it all and don't really like these. However, when I saw these two sets of six earrings for only £3 each I new I had to have them, and they're just so cute and girly!

Just a quick reminder, my giveaway has one more week left!

Hope you all had a good weekend!

#83. FOTD

This week is the first week of my nice long summer holidays. However, it will probably also be my most busiest as at work it is coming up for our famous sale! For those of you who don't know, I work at NEXT. I absolutely love working there, I have so much fun and it's something I want to do when I leave college. Most people will know that NEXT sales are pretty huge, especially end of season as everything goes in the sale at 50% or 75% off. There isn't any in between discounts or anything less than 50% which is why when the doors open at 5am people come running through the store trying to snap up all the bargains. People also begin to cue out the front of the store from about 3am, and the cue is just horrendous! We even have security on the doors, which we never normally do. So in order for this big sale to happen it takes a lot of time and preparation on behalf of the staff. I've been working really late nights staying to about 10/11 in order to get everything ready and Friday night I will be at work from 2pm till about midnight, and back to work on Saturday for my 6am shift. So if you happen to be at NEXT over the weekend and you can brave the sale then do because there are some real bargains to be had. I should know, because I get first pick and have already been stashing stuff away! All their large perfumes are going down to £5!!

So my make up has been kept nice and simple for work today and I'm wearing:
- Elizabeth Arden Plum Perfect Foundation in Beige
- Rimmel Glam'Eyes Liquid Liner
- Bourjois Volumizer Mascara
- Barbara Daly Cheek-To-Cheek Powder Bronzer
- Gosh Shimmer Powder in Pink

If you have any questions, queries or suggestions then don't hesitate to leave a comment or drop me an email!

#54 NEXT Just Pink Desire Eau De Toilette Giveaway.

Morning bloggers!
Hope everyone is well this Saturday morning, I however am at home ill when I should be at work, being ill sucks!
Recently at work we had our mid-season sale and the beauty of working in retail and working the sale and doing sale prep is that you get first pick of everything that's about to go live into the sale, so of course I snapped up a few bargains and whilst there I brought just a little something which I thought might make a good giveaway as I haven't done one since before Christmas and recently I've reached 150 followers and haven't shown a little appreciation. So here it is...

Next do great body care which is reasonably priced, and when this little beauty went into the sale I had to have first pick! So I grabbed one for myself and one for my followers. Just Pink by Next is a favourite of mine which I'm constantly wearing, and recently they brought out Just Pink Desire for the season. Now I know it may not be to everyone's taste but I just wanted to share with you a beauty product which I LOVE. This fragrance is such a pretty smell as its a twist of fruitiness and florals, yet at the same time not over powering. I know that perfume giveaways are a bit of a risk but it's just a chance to try something new which you wouldn't normally buy yourself and if you end up winning and don't like it then I won't be offended there may be someone else you can recycle it!
In order to enter you must be a follower of Beautiful Nellies, and then you just need to leave a comment telling me what your favourite smell or scent is at the moment along with your email address in order for me to contact you. I'm not going to pick the winner at random this time, I'm going to choose my favourite answer. This giveaway will also end in a weeks time on the 7th April at midday. There are no extra entries or anything as I just want to keep it small and simple. All that's left for me to say now is GOOD LUCK!
